How do I tweak the ever-growing java cache in my local profile folder?
It stops me from logging off properly!
 
  1. Click Start-button.
  2. Click Settings/Control panel.
  3. Double-click Java.
  4. On General tab, click settings.
  5. You can un-check Save temporary files on the computer or
  6. choose to move the cache folder to outside your profile to eg C:\temp.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click OK to close the Java control panel.
  9. Log off once to save the settings.
  10. Logon again.
  11. Done
